FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are there any refunds, or can I pay for only 1 of 2 sessions?
There are no refunds and, while you can choose to attend all or a portion of the class, the fee is $55 per person. Class size is limited to 50 to ensure everyone has the best possible experience. If you register and cannot attend class for any reason, YOU WILL NOT BE GRANTED A REFUND. But we will miss you.
Is there a discount for families or children?
No, unfortunately there is no special pricing for children or families. The cost is $55 per person. Children and youth of many ages have attended the class and have had a wonderful time. We suggest, however, that you are the best judge of whether your child will find the classroom and practical instructions useful.
What do I need to bring?

Please bring with you something to take notes, and all items that you would normally carry during a day hike, such as rain gear or extra clothing and/or trekking poles. Also bring your first aid and survival kits as they will be necessary for the practicals. Feel free to bring water and snacks, and/or a lunch if you would prefer not to run out for a bite during the lunch break.
Do you provide lunch?

We'd love to but NO, we do not provide lunch, drinks or snacks. Please bring water to stay hydrated and you may wish to bring lunch and/or snacks if you choose. You will have a lunch break and there are many options for grabbing a bite.
Will the class be held if the weather is cold or rainy?
We do not cancel the event for weather conditions, OTHER THAN if we, in our sole discretion, deem it unsafe for people to attend the class in extreme weather. In that event, all registered students will receive a full and prompt refund. Please note that cold or rainy weather is in fact an excellent circumstance in which to practice the skills you will be learning. We believe in you!
Where is the class held?

The morning instruction will be held at Lifepoint Church, 51 Riverdale Road in Ozark, Missouri.  We will give you time for lunch. Class typically ends somewhere between 4 and 5 pm.
